Non Attendance

If you are unable to make your appointment, we respectfully ask you to contact us more than 24 hours beforehand. This enables us to offer the slot to other clients on our waiting list.  If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours' notice, you will be charged a $50.00 non attendance fee.

Non-attendance without prior notice will result in the imposition of the full session fee. 

Please also note that if non attendance without notice occurs more than three times, no further appointments will be booked. Successful therapy involves commitment from both the client and psychologist and consistent non attendance will be interpreted as non engagement with the therapy.

Behavioural Expectations 

Please note that respectful behaviour is required from clients and visitors to the practice. Where clients deviate from this and are abusive and disrespectful towards practitioners and staff, they will be asked to leave the premises. Abuse includes pejorative comments about or to the staff, expressions of prejudice towards others, hate speech, aggressive verbal or physical abuse and unwarranted criticism of the psychological service and process. A charge will still be levied for the session even if terminated due to disrespectful and abusive behaviour.
